Alex Flynn was living a happy, comfortable life as a lawyer with his wife and three kids when he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease. “I was devastated,” he says. “Up to that life I lived a life that was free from worries and cares. For months I went into a funk.”
But somewhere inside himself, Alex wondered what sort of role model has was being to his children and what sort of husband he was being to his wife.
From that moment on he decided to dedicate himself to raising money for Parkinson’s research by running. It was the start of a journey that would take him
around the world in a 10 Million Metre run.
